Progress and challenges in the research of urinary extracellular vesicles as disease biomarkers
尿液细胞外囊泡(uEV)是近年来备受关注的尿液中的重要组成成分。随着高通量组学及单个EV研究技术的进步,人们对uEV的来源及其内容物有了更深入的认识。uEV内容物包括蛋白质、脂质、RNA和DNA等,能够直接反映其来源器官的病理生理状态。uEV兼具高稳定性、可溯源性及内容物可富集性等特点,在多系统疾病,尤其是泌尿生殖系统疾病中显示出了独特的作为生物标志物的应用前景。
更多Urinary extracellular vesicles (uEV) have recently garnered significant attention as crucial components in urine. Advances in high-throughput omics and single-vesicle technologies have deepened our understanding of the origins and contents of uEV, which include proteins, lipids, RNA, and DNA. These vesicles reflect the pathophysiological status of their source organs. uEV are highly stable, traceable, and can be enriched with various contents, making them promising biomarkers, particularly for urogenital diseases.
