Abstract: Intervertebral disc degenerative diseases are one of the main causes of lower back pain,with significant limitations in both traditional conservative and surgical treatments.In recent years,biopolymeric nanomaterials have be-come a hotspot in research due to their excellent biodegradability,biocompatibility,highly precise drug delivery,pro-longed drug release time,and enhanced drug efficacy.This paper systematically reviews the relevant research progress of biopolymeric nanomaterials in the regenerative therapy of degenerative intervertebral discs,providing useful insights for a-chieving precise treatment of degenerative intervertebral disc diseases.
