Abstract: Tuberous sclerosis complex(TSC)is an autosomal dominant genetic disease with about 1/3 being familial and 2/3 being sporadic.TSC often involves the central nervous system,skin,kidneys,lungs and heart,and also involves bone in the whole body.The authors report a case of TSC in a middle-aged woman.The characteristics of TSC were analyzed from 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose(FDG)PET/CT.The imaging features on 18F-FDG PET/CT were summarized through literature review.There are few reports on 18F-FDG PET/CT examination of TSC,but the diagnosis mainly depend on imaging examination.So get full understanding of its imaging signs are particularly important to make accurate diagnosis.
