Abstract: Brain tumors are one of the common diseases of the nervous system, with high morbidity and mortality, and which can cause multiple neurological symptoms, such as nervous system symptoms, cancer common symptoms and treatment-induced symptoms.Although the concept of symptom clusters has been well known to the public, and some progress in the composition and the management theory of symptom clusters of symptom clusters has been made, the relevant research at home and abroad starts late, especially the domestic research on symptom clusters in brain tumor patients is still immature, lacking local assessment tools and individualized intervention strategies. The synergistic reinforcing of symptom clusters in brain tumor results in a heavy symptom burden, whereas,it is urgent to explore the mechanism of symptom clusters in brain tumor and develop individual and efficient interventions. This article reviews recent studies regarding the mechanism, the composition, the evaluation tools, the influencing factors and the intervention strategies of symptom clusters in patients with brain tumors, aiming to provide a basis for early identification and continuous individualized management strategies of symptom clusters in patients with brain tumors.
