Abstract: Objective To investigate the application value of closed negative pressure drainage in wound healing and bone healing indexes of patients after traumatic tibial osteomyelitis. Methods 108 patients with postoperative traumatic tibial osteomyelitis were selected as the study objects, and the patients were divided into two groups(control group and observation group)according to the wound diagnosis and treatment methods. The control group(n=54)was treated with routine debridement, and the observation group(n=54)was treated with closed negative pressure drainage. The inflammation indexes of osteomyelitis, wound healing indexes, bone healing indexes,self-care ability, and incidence of infection were compared between the two groups. Results After operation, the levels of white blood cell count(WBC),erythrocyte dust reduction rate(ESR)and hyper-sensitive C-reactive protein(CRP)in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The wound healing time, hospital stay, fracture healing time and external fixation time in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After operation, the scores of physical function and cognitive function in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of infection between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Closed negative pressure drainage can accelerate wound healing, improve patients'self-care ability and reduce the inflammatory index of traumatic tibial osteomyelitis.
