Abstract： Lupus nephritis(lupus nephritis,LN)is one of the most common complications of systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).The traditional view is that the mechanism of this disease is that lymphocytes produce a large number of antibodies against autoantigens and form immune complexes to deposit in different tissues,leading to kidney involvement and showing progressive damage.LN delay is difficult to heal and easy to relapse,and the treatment is mainly using glucocorticoids and immunosuppressants,and the prognosis is poor.In recent years,TCM has conducted a lot of research and exploration in the treatment of LN,and has shown reliable clinical efficacy and safety.The author will summarize and elaborate the research progress in recent years from the aspects of disease name,etiology,treatment method,ancient prescription,Chinese medicine,extract and characteristic treatment of traditional Chinese medicine,in order to provide theoretical reference basis for the clinical work and research of LN.
