Abstract: With the deep research of acute pancreatitis(AP),Chinese acute pancreatitis with abundant components and numerous targets have been found to play an important role in regulating the immune inflammatory response, and provide the key direction for the treatment of AP.In this paper, through the collection of relevant literature in recent years, the mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling pathway, which is composed of extracellular regulated protein kinases(ERK1/2),c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK)and p38 MAPK,plays a significant role in inhibiting inflammatory reaction,anti-oxidative stress and promoting apoptosis. In recent years,MAPK signal pathway has been used as a starting point in traditional Chinese medicine, taking advantage of the characteristics of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation,we have done a lot of research on the interference of MAPK signal pathway in AP by traditional Chinese medicine prescription, monomer, extract of traditional Chinese medicine and active ingredient of traditional Chinese medicine, the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the treatment of AP was summarized as regulating inflammatory factors and mediating the expression of signal factors to inhibit the inflammatory cascade reaction Through reducing the production and release of reactive oxygen species and regulating the activity of oxidase to inhibit oxidative stress; The increase of mitochondrial membrane permeability can regulate the expression of caspase-3,B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2)and Bcl-2 associated X(Bax),induce endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress, balance apoptosis, and alleviate pancreatic injury. Therefore, this paper aims to summarize and analyze the current literatures on the treatment of AP with Chinese herbal medicine based on MAPK signal pathway,in order to provide some references for the future research on the treatment of AP.
