Abstract: Objective To investigate the efficacy of interferon cimbined with loop electrosurgical excision procedure(LEEP)cone biopsy in the treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. Methods A convenient sampling method was used to select 90 patients diagnosed with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.According to the different treatment plans, they were divided into the observation group and the control group, with 45 cases in each group. Both groups underwent LEEP cone biopsy at our hospital, and the observation group received interferon therapy on the basis.Bloody leukorrhea disappearance time, wound healing, and vaginal discharge were compared between the two groups. The levels of cervical microenvironment indicators such as interleukin-4 before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. After one year of follow-up,the recurrence rate and the rate of human papillomavirus clearance were compared between the two groups. Results The bloody leukorrhea disappearance time, wound healing time, and vaginal discharge time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, the levels of interleukin-4,interleukin-12,and γ-interferon were compared with P>0.05;after treatment, the level of interleukin-4 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the levels of interleukin-12 and γ-interferon were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After one year of follow-up,the observation group had a lower recurrence rate and a higher rate of human papillomavirus clearance compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined application of interferon and LEEP cone biopsy for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia significantly enhance the cervical microenvironment of patients, the clearance rate of human papillomavirus, and improves the prognosis of patients.
