Correlation between Incidence of Coronary Heart Disease and Five Movements and Six Qi Theory and Meteorological Factors in 48811 Patients in Shenyang Area

Abstract: Objective Based on the theory of the five movements and six Qi of Huangdi Neijing and the data of each meteoro-logical index,it investigated and analyzed the correlation between the onset of coronary heart disease and the doctrine of five movements and six Qi and meteorology,in order to provide theoretical basis and new ideas for the prevention of coronary heart dis-ease in clinical work.Methods The patients with first diagnosis of coronary heart disease who were hospitalized in the affiliated hospital of liaoning university of traditional chinese medicine from January 2013 to December 2021 were collected retrospectively,and the data of 7 meteorological indicators was collected in Shenyang Meteorological Bureau during the same period,namely,daily mean atmospheric pressure,daily mean temperature,daily maximum temperature,daily minimum temperature,rainfall,average rel-ative humidity and wind speed,and the daily temperature range was obtained by collating the meteorological data.Descriptive sta-tistical analysis,Pearson Chi-square test,Pearson correlation test and other statistical analysis were performed on case data and meteorological data.Results The incidence of different dominant Qi was as follows:last Qi>the fifth Qi>initial Qi>the second Qi>the fourth Qi>the third Qi.The incidence of Shaoyin Junhuo>Yangming Zaojin>Taiyang Hanshui>Taiyin Shitu>Jueyin Fengmu>Shaoyang Xianhuo(P<0.01).The number of cases was positively correlated with average air pressure,negatively cor-related with average air temperature,maximum air temperature,minimum air temperature and average relative humidity(P<0.05),but had no significant correlation with daily temperature range or rainfall(P>0.05).The absolute correlation coefficients between the mean air pressure,the mean air temperature and the minimum air temperature of the second Qi,the third Qi,the last Qi and the number of coronary heart disease patients were all more than 0.5 and P<0.01,which were significantly correlated.Conclusion There is a strong correlation between coronary heart disease incidence and five movements and six Qi and actual me-teorological data in Shenyang area.When there was the dominant Qi of Taiyang Hanhui and the guest Qi of Shaoyin Junhuo,the number of coronary heart disease increased.The number of coronary heart disease increased when mean air pressure increased,mean temperature,maximum temperature,minimum temperature and mean relative humidity decreased.
