Abstract： Objective To investigate the effect of Sihuang Shengji Decoction(四黄生肌汤)on postoperative patients with peri-anal abscess of heat toxin exuberance syndrome.Methods A hundred cases of postoperative patients with perianal abscess of heat toxin exuberance syndrome admitted to the hospital from August 2021 to April 2022 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into the control group and the test group by random number table method,each with 50 cases.The control group was given potassium permanganate solution for hip bath,metronidazole sodium chloride injection,0.9％sodium chloride solution for repeated cleaning and gentamycin sulfate injection gauze packing.The test group was given Sihuang Shengji Decoction on the basis.Both groups were treated for 10 d.The effects after 10 d of treatment,wound healing,scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,cytokine before and after 10 d of treatment and the security during treatment were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with that of the control group,the total effective rate of the test group was higher after 10 d of treatment[96.00％(48/50)vs 78.00％(39/50),P＜0.05].Compared with those of the control group,the times of wound decay and wound healing in the test group were shorter,and after 10 d of treatment,the scores of wound pain,redness and swelling,secretion and granulation morphology in the test group were lower(P＜0.05).Compared with those before treatment,after 10 d of treat-ment,the scores of dry mouth and constipation,anal redness and swelling,restless sleep,aversion to cold and fever,serum levels of interleukin-1 β(IL-1 β),C-reactive protein(CRP)and activin A(ACTA)in the two groups decreased,and the levels of the test group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The serum level of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in both groups increased,and the level of the test group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Compared with that of the control group,the total incidence of complications in the test group during treatment period was lower[4.00％(2/50)vs 14.00％(7/50),P＜0.05].Conclusion Sihuang Shengji Decoction could obviously improve the traditional Chinese medicine symptoms of postoperative patients with perianal abscess of heat toxin exuberance syndrome,alleviate the inflammatory reaction,promote angiogenesis,and then help to promote the wound healing of patients and improve the treatment effect,with high safety.
