Abstract： Objective To investigate the application effect of Wenyang Kanghan Formula(温阳抗寒方)combined with acu-puncture and moxibustion in patients with chronic bronchitis(CB).Methods A total of 150 patients with CB admitted to our hos-pital from May 2021 to May 2022 were divided into control group(treated with conventional western medicine)and observation group(treated with conventional western medicine+Wenyang Kanghan Formula+acupuncture)by using random number table method,75 patients in each group.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment,pulmonary function in-dexes[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1)and peak expiratory flow(PEF)]and the-expression levels of inflammatory factors[interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-10(IL-10)]were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of expectoration,cough,dry mouth and drythroat,dry heat and night sweat syndrome in both groups decreased(P＜0.05),and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the values of FVC,FEV1 and PEF increased in both groups(P＜0.05),and the values in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-4 and CRP in the two groups decreased(P＜0.05),and the levelsofIL-10 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05),and the levels of IL-10 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(increased P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Wenyang Kanghan Formula and acupuncture and moxibustion has a significant effect on CB patients,which can reduce the scores of TCM syndromes,and improve the lung function andimprove the inflammatory reaction.
