Abstract： Objective To investigate the application of Shengji Jiedu Recipe(生肌解毒方)Prescription combined with platelet rich plasma(PRP)in chronic burn wounds.Methods A hundred and four104 patients with chronic burn wounds admitted to ourthe hospital from May 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the research objects,and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,with 52 patients in each group.The control group was treated with PRP technology,and the observation group was treated with Shengji Jiedu RecipeDecoction on the basis of the control group.The wound healing rate and time,wound quanti-tative score and visual analog score(VAS),inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),white blood cell count(WBC)],vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)and ad-verse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with those of the control group,the wound healing rate of the observation group was slightly higher in the first week(P＞0.05),the wound healing rate was significantly higher in the third and fifth weeks(P＜0.05),and the wound healing time was significantly shorter(P＜0.05);.After treatment,compared with those of the control group,the quantitative score of wound surface and VAS in the observation group were significantly lower(P＜0.05).The levels of CRP,TNF-α、and WBC level wasere significantly lower(P＜0.05),the level of VEGF was signifi-cantly higher(P＜0.05),and the level of MMP-9 was significantly lower(P＜0.05);.There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The external application of Shengji Jiedu RecipePrescription combined with PRP technology can promote the chronic wound healing after burns,relieve wound symptoms and pain,reduce the inflammatory reaction,and regulate the levels of VEGF and MMP-9,with good safety.
