Abstract： Objective To study the clinical effect of ginkgo leaf extract on sudden deafness with Qi stagnation and blood stasis.Methods A total of 84 patients with sudden deafness with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome admitted to the hospital from January 2018 to December 2021 were divided into batroxase group(42 cases)and combined ginkgo leaf group(42 cases)by the random number table method.The batroxase group was treated with batroxase,and the combined ginkgo leaf group was treated with ginkgo leaf extract on the basis of the batroxase group.Both groups were treated for 10 d.The efficacy of the two groups after 10 d of treatment and the occurrence of adverse reactions during the treatment were counted,and the scores of traditional Chinese medi-cal syndromes,coagulation function,hemorheology and hearing of the two groups were compared before and after 10 d of treat-ment.Results After 10 d of treatment,the total effective rate of the combined ginkgo leaf group was higher than that of the batrox-ase group(P＜0.05).After 10 d of treatment,the scores of nausea and vomiting,tinnitus,ear bloating and vertigo,the levels of serum fibrinogen(FIB),platelet factor(PF),whole blood viscosity(WBV),hemocyte volume(HCT),hearing threshold and score of hearing loss decreased in both groups compared with those before treatment,and the levels of the above indexes of the combined ginkgo leaf group were lower than those in the batroxase group(P＜0.05).The prothrombin time(PT)and partial thrombin active time(APTT)prolonged in both groups,and the time of the combined ginkgo leaf group was longer than that in the batroxase group(P＜0.05).During treatment,there was no significant difference in the incidence of total adverse reactions between the combined ginkgo leaf group and the batroxase group(P＞0.05).Conclusion The ginkgo leaf extract in the treatment of sudden deafness with Qi stagnation and blood stasis could effectively improve the traditional Chinese medical syndromes,coagulation function,he-morheology and the hearing of the patients,with good curative effect and good safety.
