Abstract： Objective To observe the effect of activating blood and dispersing wind acupuncture on perioperative blood pres-sure in patients with cataract complicated with hypertension.Methods A prospective study was conducted.A total of 100 cases(100 eyes)of cataract patients with hypertension who received surgical treatment in the hospital were selected as research objects,and were divided into observation group and control group with 50 cases(50 eyes)in each by random number table method.The control group was treated with antihypertensive treatment and routine intervention according to the condition,and the observation group was treated with activating blood and dispersing wind acupuncture on this basis.Perioperative blood pressure,heart rate(HR),analgesia and sedation scores,operative cooperation and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Results The values of mean arterial pressure(MAP)and HR at each time point during surgery were increased in both groups compared with those before surgery(P＜0.05),and the values of MAP and HR at each time point during surgery and HR at 2 h after surgery in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The intraoperative and postop-erative 2 h VAS scores of both groups were higher than those before surgery,and the score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group.The Ramsay sedation scores at all time points during surgery of the control group were lower than those before surgery,and the Ramsay sedation scores at all time points of the observation group were not significantly changed compared with those before surgery.The Ramsay sedation score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group at all time points and 2 h after surgery(P＜0.05).The operative cooperation degree of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The total incidence of intraocular hypertension,anterior chamber hemorrhage and corneal edema in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion For cataract patients complicated with hypertension,the preoperative treatment with activating blood and dispersing wind acupuncture can help to maintain the stability of perioperative blood pressure and heart rate,improve the degree of cooperation in surgery and reduce postoperative complications.
