Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of the interactive scalp acupuncture for balance dysfunction in pa-tients recovering from stroke. Methods A randomized controlled study was conducted to collect 97 patients who were treated in the hospital from September 2020 to October 2021.The interactive scalp acupuncture group received simultaneous scalp acupuncture and balance function rehabilitation training, while the traditional scalp acupuncture group received post scalp acupuncture and bal-ance function rehabilitation training. The changes of National Institute of health stroke scale(NIHSS),Berg balance scale(BBS)and Barthel index(BI)before and after treatment were analyzed. Results After 4 weeks of treatment, the scores of NIHSS,BBS and BI of the interactive scalp acupuncture group and the traditional scalp acupuncture group were improved compared with those be-fore treatment(all P<0.05),and the improvement range of the interactive scalp acupuncture group was better than that of the tradition-al scalp acupuncture group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Interactive scalp acupuncture in the treatment of balance dysfunction after stroke is more conducive to the recovery of balance function and the improvement of activities of daily living, worthy of clinical promotion.
