Abstract： Banxia Xiexin Decoction(半夏泻心汤),created by Zhongjing,is a representative prescription of pungent disper-sing and bitter descending,widely used in digestive system diseases.In recent years,the incidence rate of stomach related diseases such as chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer is increasing,which reduces the quality of life of patients and increases the burden of medical care.Through literature review,it is found that the clinical and mechanism researches of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of gastric diseases have made great progress,but the lack of systematic collation of its related literature leads to the fail-ure of further exploring and utilizing its value in the treatment of gastric diseases in a timely manner.Banxia Xiexin Decoction has the advantages of effectively relieving symptoms,reducing the recurrence rate and less adverse reactions in the treatment of gastric diseases.It mainly exerts its therapeutic effect through anti inflammation and sterilization,regulating immune function,repairing mucosal damage,anti-tumor,regulating gastrointestinal hormones,promoting gastrointestinal motility and other ways,but the spe-cific molecular mechanism of action still needs further exploration.Therefore,this article expounded the progress of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in treating gastric diseases in recent years from the aspects of theoretical exploration,clinical research and mechanism of action,providing reference for clinical prevention and treatment of gastric diseases and in-depth study of its mechanism of action.
