Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of dyadic coping intervention on anxiety,depression and coping ability of young and middle-aged stroke patients and their spouses.Methods 59 young and middle-aged stroke patients and their spouses were recruited from Taihe county hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2021 to February 2022,and they were divided into interven-tion group and control group through convenient sampling method.The control group was given routine nursing,and the intervention group was given dyadic coping intervention on the basis of routine nursing.After 8 weeks,the level of anxiety,depression and coping a-bilities between the two groups of patients and their spouses were compared.Results The scores of stress communication,support dyad-ic coping,common dyadic coping of the intervention group and their spouses were higher than those of the control group,the scores of negative coping were lower(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of self delegated dyadic-coping between the in-tervention group and the control group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of spouse's delegated dyadic coping and perceived delegated dyadic coping compared to the control group(P>0.05).The detection rates of anxiety and depression in inter-vention group were lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Dyadic coping intervention can improve coping ability of young and middle-aged stroke patients and their spouses,alleviate the anxiety and depression.
