Abstract： Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Wenshen Jianpi Dingji Decoction combined with meloxicam in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis(AS),and to analyze its effects on hemorheology and inflammatory factors.Methods A total of 83 AS patients admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to May 2023 were selected as research objects,and were divided into control group(41 cases)and observation group(42 cases)by random number table method.The control group was treated with meloxicam,and the observation group was treated with Wenshen Jianpi Dingji Decoction combined with meloxicam.The Clinical efficacy,safety of the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and other indexes including TCM syndrome scores,Bath ankylosing spondylitis disease Activity Index(BASDAI)score,Bath ankylosing spondylitis Functional Index(BASFI)score,hemorheology,inflammatory fac-tors[calcin binding protein S100A12(S100A12),C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),interleukin-1β(IL-1β)],oxidative stress[superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA),lipid peroxide(LPO)]were also compared.Results The total effective rate of observation group was 90.48%,which was higher than that(73.17%)of control group(P<0.05),and no obvious adverse reactions occurred.After treatment,TCM syndrome score,BASDAI score,BASFI score,whole blood low tangent viscosity,plasma viscosity and hematocrit in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum S100A12,CRP,ESR,IL-1β,MDA and LPO in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the level of SOD was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Wenshen Jianpi Dingji Decoction combined with meloxicam can improve clinical symptoms and improve joint function,disease activity and hemorheology in the treatment of AS,and alleviate inflamma-tory and oxidative stress.
