Abstract： Objective To investigate the current status of oral frailty and frailty in maintenance hemodialysis patients,and to ex-plore the relationship between oral frailty and frailty.Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted on 238 maintenance hemodialy-sis in Lu'an Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University by convenient sampling method from October 2022 to June 2023.The sur-vey instruments included general data questionnaire,oral frailty index-8,Fried frailty phenotype and simplified nutritional appetite questionnaire.Results The incidence of oral frailty in maintenance hemodialysis patients was 41.2%,and the prevalence of frailty was 39.92%.The logistic regression results showed that age(OR=4.138,95%CI:2.161～7.923,P<0.01),serum calcium(OR=0.417,95%CI:0.209～0.829,P=0.013),fatigue(OR=3.616,95%CI:1.855～7.047,P<0.01),and grip strength(OR=3.966,95%CI:1.944～8.091,P<0.01)were influencing factors for oral frailty.Conclusion The incidence of oral frailty and frailty in maintenance hemodi-alysis patients is relatively high,and frailty is a risk factor for oral frailty.Attention should be paid to patients with elderly,low blood cal-cium concentration,fatigue and low grip strength.Early identification and predictive intervention should be given.
