Abstract: Objective To systematically evaluate the effect of Family-Centered Empowerment Model(FCEM)in cancer pa-tients.Methods Randomized controlled trials on the efficacy of FCEM intervention in cancer patients were searched in CNKI,Wanfang data,VIP,CBM,PubMed,Web of Science and Cochrane Library. The retrieval time was from establishment of database to November 15,2023.Independent literature screening, data extraction and quality evaluation was handled by two investigators with RevMan5.4 software. Results 10 literatures were included, with a total of 974 cancer patients.Meta-analysis results showed that FCEM could improve the quality of life of cancer patients[SMD=2.04,95%CI(1.22,2.87),P<0.000 01],improve mental toughness[SMD=2.77,95%CI(0.41,5.12),P=0.02)]and discharge readiness[MD=5.30,95%CI(2.61,7.99),P=0.000 1)]at the same time, improve the main caregivers readiness[MD=5.30,95%CI(2.61,7.99),P=0.000 1)]and caregiving ability[MD=9.07,95%CI(15.95,2.19),P=0.01)].Conclusion Available evidence suggests that FCEM has positive effects on quality of life, mental toughness, discharge readiness, primary caregiver readiness and caregiving ability of cancer patients compared to conventional care.
