Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effect of distal ischemic posttreatment on neurological function and prognosis of patients with ischemic stroke. Methods Randomized controlled trials were used among Pubmed,Web of Science, embase,Cochrane Library,CNKI,VIP,Wanfang Data and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM)with the treatment of ischemic stroke with distal ische-mia.The intervention group was treated with RIPostC,while the control group was treated with conventional drugs.Outcome measures in-cluded the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score,Barthel Index(BI)score and modified Rankin(mRS)score. The retrieval period was from the establishment of the database to July 2023,and Meta-analysis was performed on the eligible literatures. Results A total of 9 studies were included, including 998 patients with ischemic stroke. The results of meta-analysis showed that the NIHSS score of the intervention group was lower than that of the control group[MD=-2.30,95%CI(-2.99,-1.62)],BI score was higher than that of the control group[MD=9.40,95%CI(4.56,14.23)],mRS Score was lower than that of the control group[MD=-0.42,95%CI(-0.76,-0.08)].Conclusion Distal ischemic posttreatment can reduce IRI,effectively improve the neurological func-tion of patients with ischemic stroke and improve the patients'self-care ability of daily life. However, there are few literatures included in this study and the sample size is small so more large-sample,multi-center and high-quality randomized controlled trials need to be conducted in the future for verification.
