Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of in-situ simulation training in anesthesiology nursing management of postoperative pain. Methods Forty nurses from Department of Anesthesiology,Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, were randomly divided into the control group(n=20)and the experimental group(n=20),according to random number table method. The control group was trained by traditional teaching mode, and the experimental group was trained by in-situ simulation. After the training, the scores of theoretical examination, clinical skills and the satisfaction degree of students to different teaching methods were compared between the two groups. Results The theoretical examination scores(92.53±4.90)were significantly higher than those of the control group(79.73±6.33),clinical skill ratings and satisfaction degree of teaching methods of the experimen-tal group were also signficantly higher than those of the control group which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of in-situ simulation training can enhance the emergency handling ability of anesthesia nurses in managing postoperative pain in patients, and the training effect is significant.
