Abstract: Objective To analyze the distribution of cervical human papillomavirus(HPV)infection and genotype in healthy adult women in Simao District,Yunnan Province,to provide a scientific basis for the prevention of cervical HPV infection in women and vaccine development. Methods Cervical cytology samples were taken from healthy female subjects aged 18~45 years who participated in a clinical trial of HPV vaccine, and HPV genotype were detected by PCR-reverse dot hybridization.Descriptive method was used to analyze the HPV infection rate, genotype distribution, single and multiple infection distribution characteristics. Results Among 697 healthy female subjects aged 18~45 years, the overall cervical HPV infection rate was 20.80%.A total of 22 HPV genotypes were detected, and the main high-risk genotypes were 52(15.00%),16(1 1.00%),58(7.00%),53(6.00%)and 51(6.00%).The low-risk genotypes were 43(6.50%)and 81(5.50%).The HPV infection rate in the age group of 18~25 years was the highest(25.21%),and decreased with age(x2=4.490,P>0.05),The main types of infection in all age groups were 52,16 and 43.The infection pattern was dominated by single infection(73.79%),and the genotypes were mainly HPV 52,16,58,59,56 and 43.The most severe cases of multiple infections were five major infections,of which double infection was dominant(73.68%),and the genotypes were HPV52 or 16 with other high-risk genotypes. The rate of multiple infections decreased significantly in the 36~45 years old group. Conclusion The cervical HPV infection rate of adult healthy women in Simao District was relatively high, and the main high-risk HPV genotypes were basically the same as those in China and other areas of Yunnan, but the main low-risk types were HPV43 and 81.
