Abstract: Even in the context of global antiretroviral and antifungal therapy,HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis remains an main cause of death in people with AIDS.Host immunity status is a key factor in determining the prognosis of HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis.In recent years,some progress has been made in the study of the correlation between host immunity and the prognosis of HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis.In this review,the host innate immunity,adaptive immunity,central nervous system immunity and immune reconditioning syndrome on the prognosis of HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis are reviewed.
