Abstract： Gouty arthritis is a disease caused by the deposition of uric acid in body,and it is usually known as gout.Joint pain and necrosis always occars to the patients.The pathogenesis of gout is complex.Only few therapeutic drugs for gout are on the market.Due to the increase in the number of patients,gout has been widely concerned by researchers.In recent years,traditional Chinese medicine has shown good effects and advantages in the treatment of gout,but the research on the treatment target and treatment mechanism is not clear.In order to further develop drugs to treat gout,the pathogenesis of gout is reviewed in order to provide guidance for follow-up research.
