Abstract： Objective To summarize the clinicopathologic features of gastric cancer.Methods The clinical and patho-logical data of 661 patients with gastric cancer were analyzed retrospectively.Age,sex,tumor site,PT Staging,lymph node metasta-sis,vascular tumor thrombus and nerve invasion were analyzed statistically.Results There were 499 males and 162 females a-mong the 661 cases of gastric cancer patients.The mean age of diagnosis of 661 gastric cancer patients was(63.03±9.07)years,the mean age of male patients was(63.23±8.95)years,the mean age of female patients was(62.42±9.44)years.There was no significant difference in the age between different sex groups(P＞0.05).Most of them were between 46 and 75 years old,and the peak of age was from 56 to 70 years old.The majority(72.61％)of the gastric cancer tumors were adenocarcinoma of the esopha-gogastric junction.There was no significant difference in the distribution of gastric cancer in different sex groups(P＞0.05).The histological type of gastric cancer was mainly adenocarcinoma(98.18％).The degree of differentiation was mainly poorly-moder-ately differentiated type(88.65％).The T stage of gastric cancer was 39.49％in pT3 group and 31.47％in pT4a group.With the increase of pT Stage,the incidence of lymph node metastasis and nerve invasion and vascular tumor thrombus increased gradu-ally.Compared with pT2 group,the incidence of lymph node metastasis and perineural invasion and lymphovascular invasion in pT3 group were significantly different(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the positive rates of lymph node metasta-sis,perineural invasion and lymphovascular invasion in different locations of gastric cancer(P＞0.05).Conclusion Some clini-copathological features of gastric carcinoma are as follows:Most of them were found in middle-aged and old men;most of them are adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction;The degree of differentiation is mainly poorly-moderately differentiated adenocar-cinoma,and is not related to the primary site of gastric cancer.Most of T stage are T3 and T4a;The occurrence of lymph node me-tastasis and perineural invasion and lymphovascular invasion are positively correlated with T stage;but the occurrence of lymph node metastasis and perineural invasion and lymphovascular invasion in different locations of gastric cancer have no significant difference.
