Abstract: Objective To investigate the impact of laparoscopic combined paraaortic lymph node dissection(PAND)in the treatment of endometrial cancer(EC)on serum tumor markers and prognosis. Methods 92 EC patients were selected and randomly divided into the observation group(n=46)and the control group(n=46).The observation group received laparoscopic surgery combined with PAND treatment, while the control group received traditional open surgery combined with PAND treatment. Results Compared the 2 groups of clinical indicators, tumor markers, and prognosis. There was no statistically significant differ-ence in the number of lymph node dissection between the 2 groups(P>0.05);The lymph node dissection time in the observation group(62.45±6.79)minutes was longer than that in the control group,(49.89±5.16)minutes,and the anal exhaust time(1.46±0.39)days and hospitalization time(8.19±2.11)days were shorter than those in the control group(2.35±0.47)days and(13.54±3.28)days,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in preoperative carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199),and CA125 between the 2 groups(P>0.05);After surgery,CA199,CEA,and CA125 in both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The prognosis of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic combined with PAND treatment can effec-tively clean lymph nodes, improve serum tumor marker levels, and improve patient prognosis in EC patients. The postoperative re-covery time is short, and it is worthy of widespread clinical application.
