Abstract: Objective To explore the serum levels of HMGB1 and MIP-1 in patients with myeloma α The relationship between gene expression and prognosis. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 60 patients with myeloma(observation group)and 60 healthy physical examination volunteers(control group).Patients in the observation group were divided into a good prognosis group(44 cases)and a poor prognosis group(16 cases)based on their prognosis.Detect serum HMGB1 and MIP-1α levels and analyze the correlation between serum HMGB1 and MIP-1 α level and prognosis of myeloma.Re-sults Compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly higher serum HMGB1 and MIP-1 α expression lev-els(P<0.05);Compared with the group with good prognosis, the serum HMGB1 and MIP-1α expression level of patients with poor prognosis was significantly higher(P<0.05).Serum HMGB1 and MIP-1α had a positive correlation with poor prognosis(P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of combined serum HMGB1+MIP-1α in prognosis prediction were significantly higher than those of serum HMGB1 and MIP-1α single prediction(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum HMGB1 and MIP-1α had a certain correlation with the prognosis of myeloma, and the prognosis of patients can be effectively predicted based on changes in its ex-pression level.
