Abstract： Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of Shengmai san Decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabe-tes mellitus with Qi and Yin deficiency combined with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris.Methods Sixty pa-tients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome combined with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris admitted to the second Department of Internal Medicine of Dongping county Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2023 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into con-trol group and observation group according to random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.Control group routine western medicine treatment,the observation group combined with Shengmai san decocition based on the control group treatment,the effectiveness of the treatment and security were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the improvement of metabolic indexes in the observation group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of homocysteine,C-reactive protein and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Frequency of the observation group angina symptoms and single length are better than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse drug reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of Shengmai san Decoction in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with Qi and Yin deficiency combined with coronary heart disease and angina pectoris can help to improve circulation,reduce glucose and lipid metabolism,reduce myocardial and vascular inflammation reaction,reduce the risk of heart failure,and has high drug safety,which has clinical application value.
