Abstract： Objective To explore the application value of holistic nursing care for children with diabetes.Methods Fifty children with diabetes mellitus treated in Tengzhou Central People's Hospital from June 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into routine group and study group by random number table method,with 25 cases in each group.The routine group carried out routine care,while the study group carried out holistic nurs-ing care.The blood glucose and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results After nursing,the lev-els of fasting plasma glucose,2 h postprandial plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c in the study group were lower than those in the routine group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Compared with the routine group,the nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For children with diabetes,the holistic nursing care model has a significant effect,can significantly improve the blood glucose indicators of children,and effectively enhance the satisfaction of children's families.
