Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of operating room nursing intervention on the prevention of postoperative incision infection in patients with gallstones and diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 72 patients with gallstones and diabetes mellitus who underwent surgical treatment in Wucheng County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as study objects and divided into control group(36 cases,routine nursing intervention)and observation group(36 cases,operating room nursing intervention).The blood glucose levels,complica-tion rates,and nursing satisfaction between the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the blood glucose level of both groups was significantly reduced,and the observation group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The operating room nursing is used for patients with gallstones and diabetes mellitus,and the nursing effect is accurate,which is con-ducive to controlling blood glucose,reducing the incidence of postoperative incision infection and other complications,and promoting postoperative recovery,and is conducive to improve the nursing satisfaction.
