Abstract: Objective To observe the positive role of diversified nursing intervention programs in optimizing the level of 2-hour postprandial plasma glucose(2 hPG)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 200 pa-tients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who received treatment in the Department of Internal Medicine of Tengzhou Mater-nal and Child Health Hospital of Shandong Province from August 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study ob-jects,and were divided into control group(n=100,routine care)and observation group(n=100,diversified nursing)by random number table method.Psychological status,self-management,blood glucose index and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the psychological status score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of self-management and quality of life of observation group were better than those of control group,and the levels of blood glucose indexes were lower than those of control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Under the comprehensive nursing of diversified nursing intervention programs during the hospitalization of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients,their bad mentality,poor self-management ability and the quality of life have been significantly improved,the level of 2 hPG is better.
