Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of diet nutrition health management on blood glucose level and self-management behavior of gestational diabetes mellitus.Methods The clinical data of 86 gestational diabetes mellitus patients admitted to Maternal and Child Health Care of Zaozhuang from January 2021 to June 2023 were retrospec-tively selected.According to different nursing methods,they were divided into observation group and control group,with 43 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention,while patients in the observation group were given diet nutrition health management on the basis of the control group.The self-management ability and blood glucose level were compared between the two groups after intervention.Results After the intervention,the scores of diabetes self-management behavior scale in all dimensions of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The 2 h post-prandial plasma glucose,fasting plasma glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin A1c in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Diet and nu-trition health management has been used to improve the self-management behavior of gestational diabetes mellitus pa-tients,so as to improve the effect of blood glucose control.
