Abstract: Objective To explore the influencing factors of diabetes retinopathy(DR)in routine screening of diabetes population. Methods The clinical data of 450 patients with diabetes who underwent routine screening in Ganyu Dis-trict People's Hospital of Lianyungang from January 2022 to December 2023 were retrospectively selected. The basic information of the patients was collected, the results of various examinations were compared, the number of DR cases was screened, and the influencing factors of DR were analyzed. Results A total of 79 DR Patients were screened out from 450 diabetic patients, including 71 cases of non-proliferative DR and 8 cases of proliferative DR.There were no statistically significant differences in gender, education level, per capita monthly income, history of smoking and alco-hol,family history, total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein, and blood uric acid between DR group and non-DR group(all P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the course of disease, hypertension, fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial plasma glucose, glycated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c),serum creatinine and urea nitrogen between DR group and non-DR group(all P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that the course of disease≥5 years,FPG≥7.0 mmol/L and HbA1c≥6.5%were independent risk fac-tors for DR(OR=1.600,2.203,2.261,all P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of DR in diabetes population is high, and the main influencing factors are long course of disease, and poor control of blood glucose. It suggests that medical staff should pay more attention to this population and take effective prevention and control measures.
