Abstract: Objective To analyze the value of optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)in the diagnosis of early diabetic retinopathy(DR).Method A total of 94 patients(176 eyes)with suspected DR treated in the Depart-ment of Ophthalmology of Jinjiang Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study objects. Each patient underwent OCTA examination and fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA).The FFA results were used as the gold standard to evaluate the value of OCTA in the diagnosis of early DR,and the consistency of OCTA diagnosis of DR and FFA results was analyzed by kappa consistency test. Results FFA detected 122 eyes with DR And 54 eyes without DR.A total of 119 eyes with DR and 57 eyes without DR were detected by OCTA.The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of OCTA in diagnosing early DR were 94.26%,92.59%,93.75%,96.64%and 87.72%respectively.The results of kappa test showed strong consistency between OCTA diagnosis of DR And FFA results(kappa=0.792).Conclusion The consistency between OCTA diagnosis of DR and FFA results is strong, which is helpful for the diagnosis of early DR,and has high sensitivity and specificity.
