Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of different treatment modalities(insulin pump subcutaneous infusion and intravenous insulin infusion)on blood glucose level and symptom remission time for patients with diabetic ketoacido-sis(DKA).Methods Clinical data of 108 DKA patients admitted to Quanzhou First Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods. The observation group(n=54)received subcutaneous insulin pump infusion, and the control group(n=54)received intrave-nous insulin infusion. The blood glucose level, symptom relief time and clinical efficacy of the two groups were com-pared.Results After 15 days of treatment, the blood glucose level of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of urine ketone body to turn negative, blood ketone body to turn negative and blood glucose standard in observation group were shorter than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The clinical effect of observation group(96.30%)was higher than that of control group(85.19%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.967,P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of DKA patients, the effect of subcutaneous injection of insulin pump for sugar control is better than that of intravenous infusion of insulin pump, and the symptom relief time is shorter.
