Abstract： Diabetes mellitus has become one of the common metabolic diseases in China.Studies find that cognitive dysfunction is closely related to diabetes,so the concept of diabetic encephalopathy(DE)is proposed.In recent years,the understanding of the pathogenesis of DE is gradually profound,and drug research for the disease is increasing.The treatment of DE with traditional Chinese and western medicine has become a hot topic.This article reviews the drugs used in the treatment of DE with traditional Chinese and Western medicine in recent years.
