Abstract: Objective To summarize the treatment and follow-up results of adult cervical lymphangioma.Method The related data of 40 adult cases of cervical lymphangioma who underwent surgical treatment at Beijing Friendship Hospital,Capital Medical University from February 2018 to February 2023 were collected,and the treatment and follow-up results of adult cervical lymphangioma were summarized.Result The 40 patients were aged 18-63 years old,with an average age of(39.4±8.7)years old;there are 11 males and 29 females;there were 7 cases of onset before the age of 18.Before surgery,the amount of fluid extracted by preoperative puncture was 6-13 ml.All patients underwent magnetic resonance imaging,and the results showed cystic tumors without enhancement within the capsule.All patients underwent surgical treatment,including 34 cases of complete resection and 6 cases of partial resection.All patients were followed up for 4 to 64 months,the follow-up results showed that,and there was no recurrence in patients who underwent complete resection.In 6 patients who underwent partial resection,there was no significant progression in appearance and imaging examination.Conclusion Adult cervical lymphangioma is a benign tumor,and timely resection can achieve good clinical effect.
