Abstract： Hai Thuong Lan Ong Y Tong Tam Linh is the first comprehensive medical book in Vietnam,and has significance as a milestone in the history of Vietnamese medicine.The book was written by Vietnamese Doctor Le Huu Trac in the forms of handwritten or transcribed copies named Lan Ong Tam Linh passed by his students in the early days.Collected and published by later generations,in the first year of Ham Nghi(1885),it was printed and published under the title Tan Thuyen Hai Thuong Y Tong Tam Linh Toan Trat.By investigating the evolution process of different versions of the book and the interrelationships formed during the process,sorting out the lineage transmission among the versions,the study aims to provide reference for contemporary research on the developmental trajectory of the medical thought of Vietnamese Doctor Le Huu Trac.
