Abstract: Objective To investigate the effects of ademetionine 1,4-butanedisulfonate for injection on the hepatoprotective and yellowing reducing in patients with obstructive jaundice(OJ)after surgery. Methods 80 patients with OJ admitted to Shangrao Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were divided into two groups by random number table method.40 cases in the control group were treated with basic hepatoprotective drugs, and 40 cases in the observation group were treated with basic hepatoprotective drugs combined with ademetionine 1,4-butanedisulfonate for injection, both groups were treated for 14 days. The clinical efficacy, liver function index, white blood cell(WBC)count,follow-up and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group had lower levels of aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, and WBC count than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, follow up for 2 months, the observation group had shorter yellowing reduction and fading time compared to the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of ademetionine 1,4-butanedisulfonate for injection in patients with OJ after surgery has a good effect on hepatoprotective and yellowing reducing, good safety and high clinical application value.
