Abstract： The"broad category admissions,major diversion"initiative represents a significant reform in undergraduate pharmacy education.However,most students entering university under this framework do not have a clear intention regarding their choice of major,posing substantial challenges for the streamlin-ing of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy majors.Drawing on the research findings of numerous scholars and the specific practices of Southwest Medical University,this paper attempts to define the disciplines of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy.Through interviews with relevant experts and scholars,a guidance plan for diversion into these two majors is developed.
