Abstract： The spectral analysis of organic pharmaceutical compounds course is a core foundational course for undergraduates in traditional Chinese medicine,pharmacy and other related majors.The main issues in current teaching include the abstract nature of the foundational theory and the high difficulty of study and research;furthermore,the focus of professional course teaching is predominantly on the transmission of professional knowledge,with low integration of ideological and political education.Instructors need to deeply mine the ideological and political educational resources of the spectral analysis of organic pharma-ceutical compounds course,formulate corresponding teaching plans according to the training objectives of different professional talents,adopt diversified teaching methods,and improve the assessment system.
