Abstract: OBJECTIVE To understand the awareness and evaluation of the rural middle-aged and elderly people in rural areas of Henan Province on community home-based elderly care services and explore the influencing factors,so as to provide reference and basis for promoting the implementation of community home-based elderly care service model.METHODS From January to May 2022,the study adopted the multi-stage stratified random sampling method to select 688 rural middle-aged and elderly people in Sanmenxia,Luoyang,Xuchang,Zhoukou,Xinxiang and Nanyang of Henan Province according to the stratification of region,sex and age to investigate their evaluation of community home care services.RESULTS Among the 688 people,57.1%knew community home care,and the proportion decreased with the increase of age.The overall evaluation score of the middle-aged and elderly people on the community home care service was(3.630±0.889)points,and they were different in age,education level,marital status,residence status,family relationship,neighborhood relationship,health status,self-care status,illness status,caregiver when sick,insurance satisfaction.There were statistically significant differences in the evaluation of community home care services among rural middle-aged and elderly people in terms of basic diet,daily living,sports and recreational activities,professional medical care,price,pension policy,raising of children for the elderly,family thoughts and people around them(P<0.05).Rural middle-aged and elderly people with high education level,high insurance satisfaction,and emphasis on basic diet,living and price are more likely to agree with community home care services.CONCLUSION People with high education level are more likely to accept the community home care service model,and the social security system should be improved through multiple ways,and the supply level of basic diet and daily life should be improved.
