Abstract: Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of nail-plate flipping transungual excision for subungual glomus tumors. Methods:The data of 11 patients who underwent nail-plate flipping transungual excision for subungual glomus tumors from May 2019 to July 2023 were analyzed retrospectively.Pain levels and the quality of life(QoL)were assessed using the numeric pain rating scale(NRS)and modified nail psori-asis quality of life questionnaire(NPQ10)respectively.Results:Six months postoperatively,NRS score de-creased significantly from preoperative(W=-55.00,P<0.01),and QoL improved significantly(W=-66.00,P<0.01).Post-surgery,the nail plate showed no significant deformities, and with no tumor recurrence ob-served after 6 months follow-up.Conclusion:The nail-plate flipping transungual approach for surgical exci-sion is effective in removing the tumor, reducing pain, and enhancing QoL.
