Abstract: Gardner-Diamond syndrome(GDS)is a rare disease characterized by spontaneous painful bruises, which is more common in females and often associated with mental illness. The etiology and mecha-nism of the disease are not clear, and and mental factors may play a key role.We report a case of GDS with postpartum depression, presented with painful bruises on the limbs, and was accompanied by transient coagu-lation factor abnormalities. After the treatment for depression for 1 month, ecchymosis and pain symptoms were relieved, and there was no recurrence after 4 years follow-up.
