Abstract： Consensus Recommendations on Aesthetic Use of Botulinum Toxin(2023 Edition)was an update on the basis of Consensus Recommendations on Aesthetic Use of Botulinum Toxin(2017 Edition),which added new products,new dose unit,new indications and injection methods of common cosmetic indications.In this article,the 2023 Edition consensus is interpreted in terms of formulation process,new products,dosage units,injection methods of common cosmetic indications and new applications in the treatment of skin diseases.In addition,new applications in dermatological treatment that were not included in the consensus were summarized,for better using botulinum toxin in dermatology.
