Abstract： Male pattern baldness,also known as androgenic alopecia(AGA),is one of the most common types of hair loss.With the acceleration of socioeconomic life,the incidence rate of AGA is increasing annually showing a trend towards younger ages.AGA is the most common cause of non-scarring hair loss in adults.Although this condition does not affect physical health,it significantly impacts patients'quality of life,causing psychological burdens.In recent years,many new treatment methods and strategies have emerged.Among these,the effectiveness of botulinum toxin in treating male pattern baldness has been increasingly confirmed by research.Therefore,this paper aims to review and summarize the current applications of botulinum toxin in male pattern baldness.
