Abstract: A 45-year-old female patient presented with facial erythema accompanied with itching and burning for 3 years.Physical examination:persistent erythema,flushing,and telangiectasia on both cheeks and nasal dorsum,especially on the cheek.Diagnosis:rosacea.Treatment:50u of botulinum toxin for injection were diluted to 20u/ml with 2.5ml of normal saline and then mixed with 1ml of crosslinked hyaluronate acid gel.Finally,the above mixture was delivered into superficial dermis with electronic micro-injection device after disinfecting facial erythema/telangiectasia area.The erythema began to disappeared one week after injection,and further consultation 3 months later showed that most of the erythema/telangiectasia subsided.The same injection was given as before,and there was no recurrence during the follow-up period for half a year.
