Abstract： Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy is the preferred treatment mode for locally advanced operable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.If the possibly benefited patients can be identified before or during treatment,it is of great significance for the formulation of overall treatment strategy.This paper reviews the research progress on efficacy predicting of neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma with application of imaging,endoscopy,ultrasonography,tumor markers and clinical in-dicators.
