Abstract: In vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) increases the risk of placenta previa by about 2-3 times. The pathological mechanism of this phenomenon is not yet clear. Different causes of infertility and different technical procedures have an impact on the incidence of placenta previa after IVF-ET. All IVF-ET pregnancies should be included in the high-risk management of placenta previa and undergo targeted screening.
